Little update

I haven't posted anything for a while, but there hasn't been a whole lot to say. Well I guess that there is a little something. The week of September 21 I started to have a really weird pain in my right side. I was kind of worried because that is the side of the appendix and gall bladder. The pain was dull at first but got progressively worse and it spread to my stomach and back. That started to worry me so finally on Sat. the 27th I went to Urgent Care. The Dr. was worried that it was my gall bladder so he had me do a urine sample (so much fun) which turned up with nothing, so they did a blood test (even more fun) to see if there was something wrong with my stomach. That came back negative, so they said they wanted me to get an ultrasound on my gallbladder to see if there were any gallstones. I had an ultrasound and after a few days of waiting for the Dr. to call me with the results they finally called to tell me that all of my insides looked good but that I had H Pylori which is a bacterial infection in the stomach and the beginning of the small intestine. Honestly I was kind of disgusted with myself. I am generally a clean freak and after doing some research on the Internet about the nastiness, I feel like I am dirty. I was trying to figure out how I got it and the only thing that I can come up with is that I work with money all day and it is SOOOO dirty. I read once that the 2 most common things found on money is human feces and cocaine. YUCK!! I now try to sanitize and wash my hands and everything around me as often as possible. I am also on some heavy duty meds and, fancy that, my side does not hurt anymore!!! YAY! So there is my little story, not for pitty, but just to tell. I hope that everyone is doing well.
