On Sunday, I wanted some mashed potatoes, so I went out to the garden and dug some up. I love red potatoes, they are my favorite. They tasted so good. I keep thinking about the line from Lord of the Rings, "boil em, mash em, put em in a stew" I just love potatoes like little Sam-wise. 
I also pulled some carrots. They were a little sad. The first one that I pulled was plump and juicy so I went a little crazy and pulled a bunch more, but they were a little sad. The picture doesn't really show them well, but they are there for you laughing pleasure.

The carrots don't look sad. They look yum like the potatoes. As I am typing this I can almost taste the creamy yum-ness. Lucky!

You have such a green thumb! They look great - My potatoes didn't even come up!! Mashed potatoes . . . . . gotta go - I'm getting hungry!!!!!
That's my favorite line from the Lord of the Rings! That is great that your garden is producing such good stuff, especially with the late summer and all!
